Alexander Nikolaevich Kolminov (Александр Николаевич Хо́лминов; born 1925) is a Russian composer.
He is best known for the Soviet opera ''An Optimistic Tragedy'' based on the play of the same name by Vsevolod Vishnevsky.〔Music in the USSR. - Page 5 1987 "An Optimistic Tragedy Opera in three acts.
